2016 Financial Review

I want to thank you for making 2016 another great year growing as a church together.

Our hope to start the year was to revitalize spiritual growth by reading the entire New Testament. We launched an organic Discipleship Pod ministry so we could learn the Bible together and pray intentionally for one another. The New Testament daily devotional was a great encouragement to many of us, and we are continuing to pray that we are not the same this year as we were last year.

We also spent time praying and developing missional entrepreneurial leaders. With these leaders, we launched seven neighborhood Redemption Community Groups in January 2017 that will make great impact in the coming year.

Big picture, because of your generosity we were able to hire Pastor Jeremy Carr full-time to pastor and oversee our Sunday morning worship gathering, as well as collaborate on discipleship and Community Group development.

Personally, my family and I were extremely blessed to take a three-month sabbatical after laboring in ministry in this city since 2010. Thanks to Crosspointe Ministry and Jim Cofield, Kalle and I received some great soul counseling, gift assessment, and encouragement for us to dive into the next season of ministry.

Thank you for giving to the work of the kingdom in Charlotte and for your time and energy committed to the Redemption Church family. Please continue to pray for God to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine as we trust Jesus together.
