The shortest definition of the gospel is this: God saves sinners

Our vision is to be a church boldly announcing the reign of a new king, King Jesus, and calling the city of Charlotte to pursue and know Jesus. God takes primary action in moving the hearts of his people, and the church responds in worship and action.

Biblical doctrine is gospel-centered doctrine

The Redemption Church Doctrinal Statement articulates the doctrine we believe as a church. These beliefs are foundational to our church, a summary of what the Bible proclaims about the central matters of our faith. This statement of faith summarizes biblical doctrine, which is gospel-centered doctrine. We believe the Bible is centered on the message of the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ, and we want our doctrine and our life as a church to be centered on and continually shaped by this gospel.

We are affiliated with the Acts 29 Church Planting Network. Acts 29 is a network of church-planting churches that believes the gospel is the good news of what God has graciously accomplished for sinners through the sinless life, sacrificial death, and bodily resurrection of his Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. This gospel is centered in Christ, is the foundation for the life of the Church, and is our only hope for eternal life.
